Frequently Asked Questions about Hiring a Magician for Private Events

  • I perform for birthdays, anniversaries, holiday parties, family reunions, graduations; anywhere people are celebrating, magic fits right in. Whether it’s an intimate dinner or a full backyard bash, I can tailor the performance to the vibe.

  • Most of my private party bookings are suited for adult audiences, but my magic is family-friendly. If your event has kids, no problem, they will enjoy it!

  • The magic usually runs between 1-2 hours. I can get to about 40-50 people per hour with the close up walk around magic.

    For the show, it can be anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour. Many people book a mix: walk-around magic while people are arriving, then the show once everyone’s gathered.

  • I’m based in Austin, TX, but regularly perform across Texas and nationwide.

  • Pricing depends on the type of event, performance and length. Most private parties fall in the $800–$2,500 range. I can share a custom quote once I know your event details.
