Frequently Asked Questions about Hiring a Magician for Private Events

  • A 60-minute interactive magic and mind-reading show built around the bride and her friends. It’s not a quiet sit-and-watch act, you and your crew become the stars. The impossible happens in your own hands and every routine is tailored to the vibe of your party.

  • Absolutely. The show is high-energy, playful, and reads the room, perfect for a celebratory adult group with drinks in hand. It can be kept totally classy or leaned a little cheeky depending on what your group wants. Just tell Michael the tone you’re after.

  • The magic usually runs between 1-2 hours. I can get to about 40-50 people per hour with the close up walk around magic.

    For the show, it can be anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour. Many people book a mix: walk-around magic while people are arriving, then the show once everyone’s gathered.

  • I’m based in Austin, TX, but regularly perform across Texas and nationwide.

  • Pricing depends on the type of event, performance and length. Most private parties fall in the $800–$2,500 range. I can share a custom quote once I know your event details.
